Garden Watchers came into being in 2024 when I discovered the joy of ceramics. After attending multiple wheel throwing classes it became evident that wheel throwing will never be my forte! Despite not being great on the wheel, I do practice and intend to get better over time. Meanwhile I fell in love with the process of hand building, the feel of the clay and the sense of calm and creativity as each piece tales shape, gradually evolving organically to reflect the essence and form of nature.
My edible garden provides an endless source of inspiration. Leaves, flowers and moments in the garden shape my work & spark new ideas. Each piece comes to life slowly and intentionally over hours of immersion, evolving organically to reflect the natural world.
Each Garden Watcher is hand built & entirely one of a kind. Each one is provided with a unique number. They were created to adorn a garden wall or outdoor space but so captivating they tend to make their way indoors for display as distinctive wall art. With their textured, organic design they make a subtle statement, and encourage contemplation.
